Professional Ocean Lifeguard Annual Proficiency
The Professional Ocean Lifeguard Annual Proficiency is designed to provide an opportunity for Ocean Lifeguards to meet industry proficiency requirements. There are three components and depending on needs a lifeguard will choose the components specific to them. The components are:
- Professional Ocean Lifeguard Annual Proficiency - update required every 12 months
- HLTAID007 Provide advanced resuscitation - update required every 12 months
- HLTAID003 Provide first aid - update required every 3 years
If you can demonstrate proficiency with evidence from another organisation then you will not need to complete that component.
To complete the proficiency you will need to complete a practical and online assessment. You will be sent a link to the online knowledge assessment once you enrol in the course.
You will need to choose one of the sessions below. The proficiency will take 2 hours and will assess your skills and knowledge. Spaces are limited to ensure each lifeguard is given sufficient opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency.
These dates are for Professional Ocean Lifeguard Annual Proficiency and HLTAID007 Provide advanced resuscitation - NEXT DATE Sunday 19th July 2020, being held at Towradgi Beach, Towradgi
